  • 04/25/2010 - StockWhip updated to 2.1.6 to deal with date format changes for historical prices retrieval.

  • 08/13/2009 - StockWhip is now available for Windows 7 (x86 and x64).

  • 06/20/2009 - The installer has now been updated to allow installation on 64 bit Vista systems. StockWhip is still 32 bit only for now though, but runs fine on Vista x64.

  • 03/22/2009 - Configuration updates are now available. Please use Tools/Updates to download. This updates fixes the price update functionality which was broken due to the data web pages changing. Trial licence users will have to uninstall, and reinstall the latest download from the website.

  • 03/10/2009 - Minor update, 2.1.5, fixing a crash bug for using a tracking index before it started.

  • 11/22/2007 - Version 2.1 has been released with support for margin loans in the full edition. StockWhip can now keep track of a margin loan attached to a portfolio and keep track of repayments, interest and keep you constantly on top of your Loan to Value Ratio. See the help pages for details on how to use this feature.

  • 9/24/2007 - Version 2.0 has been released with full support for Windows Vista, XP and Win2k. New features include interface tweaks, no in-application advertising, better support for mutual funds, currency per portfolio, all downloads over SSL, scrolling totals fields, faster startup, tray icon changes with day performance, moving stocks between watchlists, and more!

  • 6/5/2007 - Version 1.4.3 is now available which allows use of the changes to the historical data web pages. This is in the current trial download package as well as available as a dynamic update for licence holders. If you had to mark any of your stocks as delisted to speed price enquiries because of errors, you'll need to remove them from the delisted list by using the 'Tools/Options' menu, 'Caches' tab and hit 'Forget' bad/delisted stocks.

  • 1/23/2007 - StockWhip v1.4 released. Complete support for stock splits and reverse splits, including management as well as auto detection. Stock splits are now supported in the Watchlists as well as the Held Shares tables. See Managing Stock Splits. Also, you can now export any table data to a CSV file, viewable by spreadsheet. Just right click the table column headers and choose the 'export data' menu item.

  • 12/7/2006 - StockWhip v1.3 released. Support for fractional share holdings, smarter selecting of a code in a search, auto save changes after a transaction, support for manual entering of prices (hit F2 to edit!), annualised returns on portfolio over 3,5 years (right click column header to enable)

  • 10/18/2006 - StockWhip v1.1 released. Now old transactions dont have to be hidden, the 'Sold Shares' tables are compressed to one easy to view table, better support for common stock indexes, ignoring bad E:{stock} format codes, better StockWhip Report content. Look out for further improvements to the StockWhip Reports. These changes were all suggested by various customers, proving your feedback counts!
