The Portfolio tree item under the 'My Portfolios' tab gives you a summary of a particular share portfolio.
You can see the capital held in shares and cash, each as a value and percentage of the total. Apart from showing the value of the total portfolio capital, the summary sheet also shows the portfolio percentage gain today and this week. There is also a configurable exponential moving average index trend indicator to tell you whether the index is rising or falling.
The table is the most interesting aspect here, giving you performance figures for your portfolio over various periods of time and snapshots of those figures in months gone by. A number of time periods are available in addition to the ones shown here.
Note there are corresponding columns for a comparison index performance so you can track any performance figure for a given time period against your portfolio. The Comparison Index is set by right clicking your portfolio and choosing 'Set portfolio comparison index' from the popup menu.
The 'External Flow' column shows movements into and out of the cash reserve from an external source.
If you have a margin loan setup, then this page appears slightly differently as below. Notice there is a field for the Loan to Value Ratio (LVR) for your portfolio. Total Capital gives you the total net value of you capital, and Total Available Capital gives you the amount you have available to invest. 'Percent in stock' and 'Percent in cash' now also have extra percentiles in brackets which give percentages of the Total Capital rather than the percentages of the Total Available Capitial.
