Why do my shares show the wrong change in price today?
If you didn't run StockWhip yesterday, and the shares traded, yesterday's price information may not yet be available from the free internet data source, and may take a day or so to be posted. Avoid this problem by keeping StockWhip open, or at least run it every day. It stays minimised in your task tray for convenience!
What difference does my country make to StockWhip records?

Why is this stock holding more than 100% of my portfolio?
Most likely is that your cash reserve value is wrong, perhaps even negative. Make sure you correctly maintain your cash reserve value along with the account you use for trading.
Does StockWhip support my equity? It's not in the search results.
StockWhip gets all its data from finance.yahoo.com. If you are having trouble finding your stock code in the search dialog, first look at the list of supported exchanges to check the exchange your stock is listed on is supported, then do some more advanced searching to find your stock. Note that most stock codes are in the format {code}.{exchange postfix} so if you know the stock code and exchange postfix, you can search for the full code in StockWhip for an exact match. For example, 'Toll Holdings' in Australia is TOL.AX where TOL is the stock code and .AX is the yahoo exchange postfix.
Some UK stocks are listed in pence, and so their values are retrieved by StockWhip in pence. The workaround for this is to enter in the volume of any purchase of this stock as 100 times less than you actually purchased and enter the price puchased in pence. For example, instead of entering a purchase of 457 shares of stock XYZ.L at 1.34 (pounds) each, enter the transaction as 4.57 shares at 134 (pence). That way, your total value is correct, and the price updates are consistent.
How are the performance figures calculated in the Portfolio and Total Capital tables?
The performance figure for any given period is calculated as the percentage change of the total capital in the portfolio over the given period. If there are any External Flows during this period (cash deposited or withdrawn from the cash reserve), they are subtracted from the total capital for the end of the period when calculating the percentage change, i.e. external flows are not counted in the portfolio performance figures. Note that for the current month, the performance figures are only for the part month corresponding to the current date inside that month. For example, the figure for '3 months' portfolio performance is actually only performance over 2.5 months when only currently halfway through the current month.
